| Reverse description | An intricately engraved antique-finish depiction of the interior throne hall of the Forbidden City, rendered in exceptional high relief with meticulous architectural and decorative detail. The central feature is a ceremonial imperial throne set upon a stepped dais, flanked by elaborate balustrades, incense burners, and guardian cranes, all executed with fine artisanal precision. Above the throne, a horizontal plaque bears the Chinese characters for the Hall of Supreme Harmony inscription, framed by a richly detailed dragon frieze. Vertical tablet inscriptions in Chinese characters appear on flanking pillars to either side of the composition.
