The Temple of Love at Versailles was commissioned by Louis XVI as a gift for Marie Antoinette and completed in 1778, designed by Richard Mique. It housed a marble copy of Bouchardon's Cupid Fashioning a Bow — the original had already been moved to the Louvre. The structure sits within the Petit Trianon gardens, which Marie Antoinette controlled entirely independently of court ceremony, one of the few spaces at Versailles where royal protocol did not govern movement.
Solomon Islands has issued gold bullion pieces under the Elizabeth II effigy across dozens of such themed series, with KM numbering now well into four figures for the issuer.
