| Obverse description | The obverse features a circular central medallion bearing the right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, diademed and draped, set against a mirror-polished field. Surrounding the central portrait, a radially divided border presents detailed relief vignettes of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, separated by ornate column-shaped dividers with scroll terminals. Each segment depicts one of the Wonders in finely engraved relief, including the Temple of Zeus, the Colosseum, a lighthouse, a mausoleum, and further ancient monuments.
