| Obverse description | Rectangular gold field framed by an elaborate ornamental border of interlaced scrollwork and foliate motifs in relief, with a beaded inner rim. At upper centre, the right-facing effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, rendered in the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait style. The purity mark 'Au 999,9' appears in the left field within a decorative oval cartouche, while the date '2012' is inscribed within a matching cartouche to the right.
