| 背面描述 | A colorized reproduction of a detail from a painting by the Venetian vedutista Francesco Guardi, depicting a view of Venice with St Mark's Campanile. To the right of the painted scene, a fragment of a bas-relief from the St Mark's Campanile is rendered in high relief, integrating painted and sculptural elements in a single unified composition. The artist's name GUARDI and the title CAMPANILE appear as inscriptions within the design field. The overall composition combines traditional numismatic relief work with applied color to evoke the grandeur of the Venetian landmark. |

St Mark's Campanile in Venice collapsed without warning on July 14, 1902 — a Monday morning, fortunately before tourists had gathered — and was rebuilt stone by stone over the following decade, reopening exactly one thousand years after the original foundation date of 912 AD. Niue's arrangement with the New Zealand Treasury allows it to issue legal tender coins that never circulate domestically, a sovereign technicality exploited almost exclusively for the collector market.
