Reverse description The reverse presents a full-color reproduction of the Baroque masterpiece 'Samson and Delilah' enclosed within an elaborate gilt rococo-style ornamental border of scrolling acanthus leaves and foliage in high relief. The central colored scene depicts Delilah seated in a luxurious interior, gesturing as a servant crouches over the sleeping, muscular figure of Samson to cut his hair, with additional figures observing from the background. At the top center of the decorative border, a circular cartouche in relief features an intricate foliate design, while a plain oval plaque appears at the base of the border. The contrast between the polished gold border relief and the vivid color-printed central panel creates a striking visual effect characteristic of the Mint of Poland's artistic output.
