Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse presents a detailed architectural rendering of the Litomyšl Castle complex (Zámecký areál Litomyšl), a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Czech Republic, depicted in high-relief proof finish. The Renaissance castle façade is shown in three-quarter perspective, showcasing its distinctive arcaded loggias, sgraffito-decorated exterior, and characteristic tower. The lower right quadrant transitions into a contrasting polished mirror field adorned with ornamental foliate motifs, creating a striking visual interplay between the frosted and reflective surfaces. The legend 'ZÁMECKÝ AREÁL LITOMYŠL' is inscribed in bold relief along the upper arc of the coin. A border of raised dots punctuates the lower periphery of the design.

Aanvullende informatie

Litomyšl Castle in the Czech Republic was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1999, recognized partly for its Renaissance arcaded courtyard — one of the best-preserved in Central Europe. Niue has issued a number of high-denomination platinum pieces tied to UNESCO sites, targeting the collector bullion market rather than any circulating purpose. This is one of them.

Mintage figures for this type are typically very low, often in the low hundreds.
