The left half showcases the soaring Gothic spires and elaborate buttressed nave of the Cathedral of Saint Barbara, while the right half depicts the Baroque façade of the Jesuit College. In the lower right of the field, a memento mori motif of two crossed human skulls and bones alludes to the famous Sedlec Ossuary, a celebrated landmark of the town.
