| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a tiara and pearl earring, after the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait, occupies the central field within a beaded inner circle. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the upper left and NIUE ISLAND along the upper right.
