Beschrijving voorzijde The obverse of this rectangular gold bar-coin features the fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley, depicted as a right-facing diademed and draped bust set centrally within a polished field. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the hair and diadem. A circular legend surrounds the effigy, reading 'ELIZABETH II · NIUE' above and '2015 · 50 DOLLARS ·' below, all in raised Latin lettering. The engraver's initials 'IRB' appear beneath the truncation of the bust. The mintmark and fineness inscription 'mw Au 9999' are positioned in the lower left field.

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse presents a full-colour reproduction of the biblical scene of the Crossing of the Red Sea, adapted from the celebrated fresco by Raphael (Raffaello Sanzio) in the Vatican's Loggia of Leo X. The composition depicts a dramatic multitude of figures — including Moses raising his staff, mounted soldiers, and fleeing Israelites — set against turbulent parted waters rendered in vivid polychrome enamel. The central scene is enclosed within an elaborate ornamental gilt frame of Baroque-style scrollwork, acanthus leaves, and foliate motifs in high relief. A small circular medallion bearing a symbolic device is centred at the top of the decorative border, and a small oval cartouche appears at the base. The overall design combines fine engraving with painted colour application to create a miniature painting effect characteristic of the Polish Mint's celebrated coloured coin series.
