| Reverse description | Central to the reverse is Emanuel Hahn's iconic caribou profile, faithfully reproduced in its original detail and proportions as it appears on the Canadian 25-cent circulation coin. The caribou figure is presented within the outline of its own full-body silhouette, creating a bold graphic composition in which the detailed portrait is framed by the animal's larger form. Selective gold plating accentuates the design, highlighting the caribou motif against the polished .9999 fine silver field. The engraver's initial H appears in the design, referencing Hahn's original work. The overall composition is part of a series designed to honour iconic Canadian circulation coinage at an enlarged, collectible scale. |
