Reverse description A highly detailed pad-printed colour depiction of Sturt's Desert Pea (Swainsona formosa), the floral emblem of South Australia, occupies the central field. The striking blooms are rendered in vivid crimson with distinctive glossy black bosses, accompanied by grey-green foliage at the base. The legend DISCOVER AUSTRALIA arcs along the upper periphery, while 1/2 OZ PLATINUM 9995 appears along the left and the species name STURT'S DESERT PEA along the right. The date 2007 is inscribed at the lower exergue.
