The engraver's initials DB appear incuse on the body of the foreground shark, and the Perth Mint's P mintmark is positioned centrally at the lower field. The surrounding legend reads DISCOVER AUSTRALIA above, with 2011 GREAT WHITE SHARK 1/2 oz 9995 PLATINUM arcing around the lower periphery. |
