| 裏面の説明 | The reverse presents a circular arrangement of six royal effigies, each representing a monarch whose portrait has appeared on Canadian coinage since Confederation, ordered counter-clockwise from the top. The effigies depicted are: Queen Victoria (1870–1901) after L. C. Wyon; King Edward VII (1902–1910) after G. W. De Saulles; King George V (1911–1936) after Sir E. B. Mackennal; King George VI (1937–1952) after T. H. Paget; Queen Elizabeth II (1953–1964) after Mary Gillick; and King Charles III (2023–present) by Steven Rosati. Surrounding the royal portraits are the national emblems of the United Kingdom — the Tudor rose, shamrock, thistle, and daffodil — together with the Canadian maple leaf. The entire composition is elegantly framed by a border of acanthus leaf flourishes. |
