| Obverse description | The obverse features the Public Seal of Niue displayed prominently in the upper right portion of the field, surmounted by a royal crown and flanked by decorative leaf motifs rendered in high relief. The seal itself depicts a traditional Niuean design within a circular border, with two crossed spears beneath and the motto legend ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI inscribed on a banner below. A diagonal ribbon-style band traverses the lower left of the field, bearing the denomination 50 DOLLARS and the date 2023 in bold incuse lettering.
