| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse features an elaborate panoramic composition depicting six of the New Seven Wonders of the World rendered in fine relief across the left and lower fields, including the Christ the Redeemer statue, the Colosseum, the Taj Mahal, Chichen Itza, the Great Wall of China, and Petra. To the upper right, the crowned Public Seal of Niue is displayed within a wreath, bearing the inscriptions PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE above and ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI below on a scroll. The denomination 50 DOLLARS and the date 2024 appear in bold numerals in the right field. The Czech Mint privy mark is visible above the Christ the Redeemer figure at the top of the coin. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a detailed full-figure depiction of the Christ the Redeemer statue (Cristo Redentor), centrally positioned in the field, with both arms outstretched horizontally in a characteristic gesture of embrace. The figure is shown in draped robes with fine sculptural detail faithfully reproducing the iconic Art Deco monument located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The curved legend CHRIST THE REDEEMER arcs along the upper periphery of the coin in incuse Latin lettering. The polished field provides a stark, unadorned background that emphasizes the sculptural quality of the central motif. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Niue has functioned as a prolific licensing vehicle for the New Zealand Mint since the 1990s, issuing gold and silver commemoratives under its sovereign authority while its actual circulating currency remains the New Zealand dollar. The arrangement is entirely legal under the Niue Act 1966 and subsequent agreements, but the coins carry no expectation of domestic circulation on an island with a population under 2,000.
Christ the Redeemer was completed in 1931 after nine years of construction, engineered by Heitor da Silva Costa and sculpted largely by French artist Paul Landowski — a detail frequently omitted from Brazilian national narratives of the monument.
