Obverse description	The obverse is printed in purple and orange tones on a white ground, with an intricate guilloche underprint covering the central field. A circular vignette at the left centre contains the Zimbabwe Bird emblem encircled by the legend RESERVE BANK OF ZIMBABWE, with the denomination numeral 50 repeated in each corner. The Governor's printed signature appears below the vignette, and a large scalloped guilloche panel runs along the lower centre, above which the bearer cheque payment text and issue date are set in letterpress.
