Obverse description The national arms vignette occupies the right portion of the note, supported by two crocodiles and bearing the motto TO LEAD IS TO SERVE on a ribbon below, while the Solomon Islands national flag is positioned at left centre on a guilloche-patterned ground. The lower border carries a decorative frieze with two pigs flanking a traditional canoe prow motif, and two-colour denomination numerals appear at lower left and lower right corners. Two manuscript signatures of the Governor and Secretary of Finance appear across the centre field.
