The centre is dominated by the Royal Arms of Great Britain vignette with lion and unicorn supporters, crown above, and the motto ribbon 'DIEU ET MON DROIT' below, all within an elaborate guilloche frame. Flanking the central arms are two large lathe-work rosettes each enclosing the numeral '50', set against a fine engine-turned background, with 'THE ROYAL BANK OF CANADA' inscribed across the top border and repeated '50 FIFTY 50 FIFTY' lettering along the lower margin. |
