Reverse description The reverse is engraved in olive-green on white paper and centres on a large heraldic vignette of the Royal Arms of Canada, with lion and unicorn supporters, surmounted by a crown, and the motto ribbon 'DIEU ET MON DROIT' below. Flanking the central arms are two large lathe-work guilloche rosettes, each bearing the numeral '50'. Repeating micro-text border patterns incorporating '50' and 'LEO' run along all four margins. The bank title 'THE ROYAL BANK OF CANADA' is inscribed in an arc at the top of the central design.
