Issued to mark Expo 2020 Dubai, which was ultimately postponed to October 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic — making it one of the rare cases where a commemorative coin predates the event it commemorates by a full year. The UAE pressed ahead with the original date on the coin rather than restrike, so every example carries a timestamp that is technically incorrect.
