| Opmerkingen |
Bank Al-Maghrib's 2009 series was the first major redesign of Moroccan banknotes since the mid-1980s, introducing optically variable ink and a windowed security thread — a significant technical upgrade over the previous generation. The hologram strip on this denomination was a new addition to the 50 Dirham format specifically, as earlier issues of this value carried only simpler foil elements.
Pick 72 is common in circulated grades; the cotton substrate is prone to soiling along the fold lines with heavy use, and well-handled examples show it quickly.
