| Obverse description | Green and multicolor intaglio print on a light guilloche underprint. A three-quarter portrait of King Hassan II occupies the right-center, dressed in a dark suit, with a vignette of a traditional Moroccan fortified palace (kasbah) rendered in fine engraving at the upper left. The Arabic inscription of Bank Al-Maghrib appears across the upper field, with the denomination خمسون درهماً (fifty dirhams) in large stylized script along the lower portion. A geometric mosaic panel in red, yellow, and blue appears at the right margin. |
