Obverse description The Andorran coat of arms is depicted at centre within a beaded circular border, surrounded by a decorative ring of alternating large and small raised dots. The arms show a mitre and crosier in the upper left quarter and two bulls in the lower right quarter, rendered in high relief against a polished field. The denomination '50' appears in large numerals below the shield, with the word 'DINERS' inscribed along the lower rim between two raised dots. The date '1990' is positioned to the right of the shield, and the circumferential legend naming the co-prince Bishop of Urgell runs around the upper portion of the coin.
