Reverse description Central device comprises a relief map of Kuwait overlaid with Arabic calligraphic text, set against a deep crimson enamel background, creating a striking two-tone composition. The map is rendered in fine detail, accurately depicting the borders of the State of Kuwait. Surrounding the central medallion is an ornate decorative border of scrolling foliate and arabesque motifs in high relief, typical of luxury commemorative coinage from the Gulf region. The legends 'STATE OF KUWAIT' and 'CENTRAL BANK OF KUWAIT' appear in Latin script at the top and bottom respectively, each accompanied by their Arabic equivalents, separated by the decorative border. The entire design is executed to proof standard with frosted relief elements contrasting against a mirror-polished field.
