正面描述 At centre, the Tunisian national coat of arms depicted as a quartered shield: the upper quarter features a sailing galleon on the sea, the lower-left quarter bears scales of justice, and the lower-right quarter displays a lion rampant; above the shield, the national emblem of a crescent and five-pointed star within a circle. The circumferential legend RÉPUBLIQUE TUNISIENNE arcs along the upper rim in Latin characters, while the denomination 50 DINARS appears in two lines along the lower rim. Decorative floral or chain ornaments flank the shield at the left and right sides of the field.

附加信息

Tunisia's "Change of 7 November" refers to the bloodless coup of November 7, 1987, in which Prime Minister Zine El Abidine Ben Ali had President Habib Bourguiba declared medically unfit and assumed power — ending 30 years of one-man rule and, by official framing, inaugurating a new democratic era. The 2004 elections commemorated here returned Ben Ali with 94.5% of the vote, a result that drew sharp criticism from international observers.

The French-legend variant was struck alongside an Arabic-legend counterpart, KM#459, differentiating the issue for distinct collector markets.
