| Obverse description | Central field features the Tunisian national coat of arms — a quartered shield bearing scales of justice and a rampant lion, surmounted by a galleon under sail and flanked by laurel branches — rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. Above the shield, the national emblem of crescent and star is displayed within a circular device. The Arabic legend 'الجمهورية التونسية' (The Tunisian Republic) curves along the upper periphery, while the denomination '50 دينارا' (50 Dinars) is inscribed in large Arabic numerals and script along the lower border. |
