The Zagreb Philharmonic issued its own scrip — a note usable as payment or credit within the orchestra's immediate sphere — a practice that was not unusual among Yugoslav cultural institutions during periods of economic strain when state funding was irregular and internal accounting had to function semi-independently. Whether this particular piece circulated among staff, served as a subscription voucher, or covered internal transactions is not firmly established in the literature.
Printed locally in Zagreb, it bypasses any state printing authority entirely.
