| Obverse description | The obverse features the state emblem of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia rendered within a square frame at center: a torch with a flame flanked by symmetrical sheaves of wheat tied at the base with a ribbon, surmounted by a five-pointed star. The foundation date of the AVNOJ republic, '29·XI·1943', is inscribed on the ribbon at the base of the emblem. A circular legend surrounds the square frame, reading 'СФР JУГОСЛАВИJА' in Cyrillic at the top arc and 'SFR JUGOSLAVIJA' in Latin script at the lower arc. The mint year '1988' appears in large numerals at the bottom of the field, below the square frame. |
