| 备注 |
The 1946 Yugoslav issue was the new communist government's first systematic attempt to replace wartime and occupation-era currency with a unified federal series. This 50 Dinara belongs to that purge — the old notes of the Royal government, the various puppet-state currencies, and the occupation scrip were all called in during the 1945–46 exchange, which was also used deliberately to wipe out the accumulated savings of politically suspect classes through strict exchange limits.
ZIN had been printing Yugoslav state paper since 1929, one of the few institutional continuities to survive the war intact. Andrejević Kun's work on the obverse is worth noting — he was among the most accomplished Yugoslav engravers of the mid-century, trained in the pre-war tradition.
