The centre field bears large Fraktur lettering reading 'Fünfzig Reichsmark' over a complex guilloche rosette incorporating the numeral 50, with the issuing authority text and date rendered in Kurrent script below. A blue-grey adhesive control stamp bearing '50 - 1948' within a fine-line guilloche border is affixed to the left portion of the note, with the serial number printed in red at upper left and lower right. |
