| Obverse description | Printed in blue on a polychrome underprint using intaglio and offset techniques, the obverse centres on a formal portrait vignette of Princess Isabel (Isabel Cristina Leopoldina Augusta Micaela Gabriela Rafaela Gonzaga de Bourbon-Duas Sicílias e Bragança) enclosed within an ornate guilloche frame. The denomination numeral 50 appears in large format on both flanking sides of the central vignette. Issuing authority legends and value inscriptions are arranged along the upper and lower borders. |
