Part of Spain's licensed Star Wars commemorative series issued around the 1997 Special Edition theatrical re-releases, these aluminium pieces were produced as collectibles rather than circulating currency, distributed largely through promotional retail channels. The "Credits" denomination is a fictional unit borrowed directly from the Star Wars universe, making this one of the few cases where a national mint issued coins denominated in a currency that has never legally existed.
Kashyyyk, the Wookiee homeworld, wouldn't appear on screen until the 2005 film, meaning its inclusion here in 1997 drew entirely from the Expanded Universe novels and West End Games RPG materials then in wide circulation among fans.
