| Mô tả mặt trước | Central design features the Nicaraguan coat of arms in the form of an equilateral triangle enclosing a radiant sun rising over a landscape with five volcanic peaks and a body of water, all set within a plain inner circle. The denomination '50 CORDOBAS' appears in the lower field below the triangle. The legend 'REPUBLICA DE NICARAGUA' arcs along the upper periphery, while 'AMERICA CENTRAL' is inscribed along the lower periphery, separated by the inner circle. The coin is struck in high relief against a polished mirror field, with a beaded border encircling the entire design. |

| Thông tin bổ sung |
Nicaragua issued this piece to mark the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, joining a crowded field of global commemoratives released in 2019. The half-gram format places it firmly in the micro-gold category that became commercially popular with smaller central banks through licensed mint partnerships — Nicaragua has no domestic precious metals refining infrastructure of its own.
