备注

Nicaragua's central bank had operated for barely a decade when this note entered circulation — the Banco Central was only established in 1960, replacing the older Banco Nacional as the country's monetary authority. Thomas De La Rue's involvement here was essentially an inherited relationship; the British firm had printed Nicaraguan currency going back to the Somoza-era issues of the 1940s and 1950s, and continuity of supplier was a deliberate policy choice by the new institution during its formative years.

The Pick 119 series is moderately scarce in top grades due to the humid Central American climate, which is particularly unkind to De La Rue's cotton substrate from this period.
