正面描述	Olive-green on multicolour underprint, with fine guilloche patterning filling the field. A vignette of the obverse of a 50 céntimos coin is positioned at left, while a portrait of Gaspar Ortuño y Ors occupies the right. 背面描述	Olive-green and multicolour intaglio rendering of the old Banco de Costa Rica building at centre, executed in fine line-engraved detail with a horse-drawn carriage and iron railings in the foreground. A circular coin vignette inscribed "AMERICA CENTRAL 50 Cs." appears at lower right, flanked by ornate scrollwork, with large numeral "50" denominators at left and right. The issuing authority's name is lettered in bold across the lower panel, with the printer's imprint in small type beneath.
