| Obverse description | Diademed and draped bust of Queen Victoria facing left, engraved by Leonard Charles Wyon, wearing a jewelled crown and hair gathered in a chignon with a ribbon at the nape. The legend VICTORIA is inscribed along the left periphery and QUEEN along the right, all within a continuous beaded border. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the crown and hair, characteristic of the Wyon workshop's Victorian colonial coinage style. |
