Opmerkingen

The Société Numismatique de Québec has issued commemorative scrip notes periodically for use at its own events — bourse transactions, club auctions, and member exchanges — functioning as internal currency redeemable within the show floor rather than as any form of legal tender. This 50-cent denomination sits at the small end of the series, primarily used to make change during dealer tables where exact coinage was impractical.

Jocelyn Dupont's signature identifies him as a club officer at the time of issue. These notes were printed locally in Quebec City in modest quantities and were never intended to circulate beyond the immediate numismatic community that issued them.
