| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in black on a light ground, centred on a large oval guilloche cartouche flanked by two confronting dragons in relief, enclosing the denomination 五角 (Fifty Cents) in bold Chinese characters. The upper portion bears the bank name in Chinese across the top margin, with the reign-year inscription 光緒三十三年印 at the left and the branch designation 奉天通用銀圓 at the right. The lower panel carries the full Chinese title of the bank, 大清戶部銀行兌換券, while a decorative lattice underprint fills the background throughout. |
