Obverse description The national coat of arms of Uganda occupies the central field, depicting a traditional shield charged with a sun and waves, supported by a Uganda kob (antelope) to the left and a grey crowned crane to the right, with a representation of the River Nile and the Rwenzori Mountains in the base, and a scroll bearing the national motto FOR GOD AND MY COUNTRY.
