附加信息

Trinidad and Tobago gained independence from Britain in August 1962, and the coinage series marking that transition went through several revisions over the following two decades. The KM#46 issue belongs to a later phase of that program, by which point the Central Bank had been operating independently since 1964 and the country had become a republic in 1976 — meaning the "Independence" branding on this coin refers back to an event already twenty years prior by the time of striking.
