Reverse description The reverse features a bold, centrally placed denomination numeral '50' above the word 'CENTS' in capital letters, all enclosed within a raised dotted inner circle. An ornate rectangular frame with interlaced foliate knot motifs at the upper corners and decorative loop elements at the lower corners surrounds the central device. The colonial territory name BRITISH HONDURAS is inscribed along the upper arc of the outer legend, while the date 1919 appears in the lower exergual area beneath the decorative frame. A dentilated border encircles the entire design.
