| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, depicted as a mature portrait with styled hair and a pearl necklace, rendered in high relief on a plain field. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the left rim, while D·G·REGINA curves along the right rim, both inscribed in Latin. The portrait is executed in the Susanna Blunt style, characteristic of Canadian coinage from 2003 onward. The overall design is refined and uncluttered, with the Queen's likeness occupying the majority of the coin's obverse field. |
