Obverse description The obverse bears the fourth-generation effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, sculpted by Dora de Pédery-Hunt, shown in right-facing profile. The Queen wears a jewelled diadem, a pearl necklace, and a drop earring, rendered with fine sculptural detail against a deeply mirrored proof field. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the upper left rim, while D·G·REGINA curves along the upper right. The portrait is surrounded by a fine inner beaded border.
