Obverse description Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a diamond diadem and pearl necklace, as sculpted by Dora de Pédery-Hunt. The portrait is rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field, characteristic of proof coinage. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the left rim, while D•G•REGINA appears along the right rim. A fine dentilated border encircles the entire obverse design.
