| Reverse description | The reverse presents conjoined busts of HRH Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton, facing slightly toward one another in a celebratory pose, with their portraits occupying the central field in high relief. The denomination 50 appears at the upper left of the field, while the legend HRH PRINCE WILLIAM arcs along the upper right periphery and MISS CATHERINE MIDDLETON continues along the lower left, all in Latin script. A decorative floral emblem, suggestive of an intertwined monogram or royal device, is visible at the base of the conjoined effigies. The engraver's initials VG appear at the lower right periphery. The design was engraved by Vladimir Gottwald to commemorate the Royal Wedding of 2011. |
