To the left, the denomination 50 appears in large numerals alongside a stylised ribbon motif, while to the right a representation of the 1967 Referendum 'How to Vote' card is depicted, bearing the slogans RIGHT WRONGS WRITE and YES for ABORIGINES! repeated three times. A facsimile of Mabo's signature appears in the lower central field.
