The kookaburra entry in this series was struck in relatively limited numbers compared to the Mint's flagship annual Kookaburra bullion program, targeting the collector gift market rather than the stackers who dominate that flagship series.

Pad printing on silver requires a chemically treated surface, which makes post-mint handling damage essentially irreversible.
