Obverse description The fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, modelled by Ian Rank-Broadley, dominates the obverse field in right-facing profile. The Queen is depicted wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, rendered with fine granular detail, along with a drop earring. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the upper left rim, while AUSTRALIA and the date 2010 follow along the right rim. The engraver's initials IRB appear in small incuse letters beneath the truncation of the neck, against the deeply mirrored proof field.
