| Descrizione del rovescio | Highly detailed depiction of Saint George, clad in ornate classical armour and mounted on a rearing horse, thrusting a long lance downward into a writhing dragon beneath the horse's hooves. The dragon, rendered with scaled body and spread wings, occupies the lower right portion of the field. A heraldic shield bearing a plain cross is displayed to the left of the central composition. The curved legend GEORGE · and · the · Dragon is inscribed along the left inner rim in stylised script. The overall design is executed in high relief against a brushed, antiqued field with gold-toned border. |
